My good friend James [Sco] left for england today for school. I’m not sure when the next time I’ll see him is, but what an awesome guy, if you haven’t checkout of his blog already, please do [Sco]. Aside from that, he also designed me an awesome card today, I took a photo of a part of it because it looks really cool.
Speaking of which, James– when you arrive, we gotta talk about how to get posting photos more efficiently on here.

A sammich is a type of sandwich. However, it is not just any kind of sandwich. Any old schmuck can throw lunchmeat between two slices of bread and have a sandwich.
But no. A sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A sammich is a true work of culinary art; a feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the *right* ingredients. It needs the right meats, and the right cheese(s), the right sauce, the right veggies, and the right kind of bread.
Taking footlong sub bread and throwing every kind of meat and cheese and everything else under the sun or in your kitchen pantry on it does not a sammich make. It is akin to an incohesive mishmosh of colors on an artist’s easel.
Sandwiches make a good snack, but sammiches are forever.

Good, bad, good, bad. good.. that’s pretty much how my day went today, but let’s talk about the highlights.. woke up to go surfing with friends, always a plus, had tacos for dinner, and had history class tonight with one of my favorite teachers, I also found out tonight he plays diablo 2, awesome stuff. My good friend Mr. Brown and his fiance are driving to California tomorrow morning, and that’s awesome too.
Right now I’m just going through some random stuff I need to get rid of, and listening to some Jack Johnson– he always puts me in a chill mode late at night, I think he does the same for a lot of people, I love it.. and my screen saver is only helping as I type this one my pc and stare off into my macbook pro’s screen.. sleep sounds good.. right about.. now.
Today was good, had a fantastic beach/surf sesh at Trestles, my first time being there, very different. It’s very scenic in an interesting way, kind of peaceful too.. Well, I’m really tired so I am going to try and leave this post short, but basically, I had a good Labor day, and I got to chill with friends, what more could I ask for. The past two days have been wonderful, and today was fantastic, I’ve never had the chance to surf until recently in my life, and it’s awesome, I had no idea what I was missing. Back to the day, the weather has been hot, but the ocean water has been refreshing. My good friend Jacob and I also had a conversation about the beach, there is something about going to the beach, enjoying the water and sun, getting home, showering and taking a nap, its a different feeling than any other nap or sleep in general, almost like a high or some sort of zen, it’s definitely peaceful.
My shoes (finally the right size) come in the mail tomorrow from Zappos.com, and Zappos– is awesome, and being part of Zappos VIP– is even more awesome (they told me bragging rights is part of the VIP program).
Well, it’s about that time where I should catch some sleep, party on.
I cleaned stevo.org up a little bit, upgraded WordPress, added a photo of my good friend Zac to the main page, I think stevo.org is nice, I like it.. What do you guys think?
Anyway, today I spent a good day at the beach, and tomorrow I think I am going to do the same, the water is nice, the weather is hot, and I’m living in one of the most beautiful places in the world, I am blessed, lucky, and life feels good.
