Today has been an interesting day, its sort of been all over the place really. To start off, I woke up and went to church with my family, which was quite enjoyable. After church I came home and got the cd I told Kailee I would give to her that I made, and took it over to her for her to enjoy. Before hand I did a little artwork on the cd case for her in marker, I kinda liked how it turned out too. Anyway, great mix on there. I suggest to everyone to check out the new Dashboard Confessional album, Chris went back to the acoustic sound and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I went back to church in the evening for choir practice, we are practicing two songs that we plan to sing at stake conference so that should be pretty awesome. Afterwards a friend invited me for dinner at their place which was quite delicious, some of the best home made wheat bread I have ever had. Gosh I love wheat bread :) . So that was fantastic, I left a little early to go home so my sister could get in when she got home. And now I have been home ever since, snacking on little snacks here and there, drinking plenty of water, doing h.w., practicing my monologue and talking to this one girl who’s pretty special ;)

Besides all of that, just been trying to plan my week out, I might be going to Utah this weekend, but we will have to see how things go, my friends want to leave a little earlier than previously planned and there might not end up being enough room anymore, which is kinda lame, but if all goes well, we’ll figure it out. Hmm, and lastly to end my night of blogging, I’m kinda missing dland these past few days.

Well tonight me and some friends decided to go longboarding, so I told them that I would meet them there at the location, on my way I was passing through an intersection, my light was steady green but a car going the other way across the intersection kept driving, right through the red light and almost smashed into me. The interesting part is that a schoolmate of mine, Jessica Harron was killed in a tragic car accident in the exact same intersection, if you could imagine the thoughts going through my mind at this point, and I usually do not honk after someone makes a stupid mistake made on the road, but this, I stopped and honked, I guess it was the situation and what was flashing through my mind at that point that made me do it. If I was looking down or away, not aware of him at the moment, there would have been an instantaneous collision. I am so grateful that I wasn’t hurt along with the driver who make the mistake.

On a lighter note, well sort of, the story gets lighter later though at least, I was meeting some friends at the UCI parking garage to do some downhill longboarding down the garage, I personally have never boarded in UCI but we checked it out, they had been there for a little bit already taking only a couple runs, I arrive to greet everyone and a cop pulls up, she gets out of the car and tells us all to sit on the ground, another cop car comes up with two guys in it, both kind. (apparently there is absolutely no skateboarding allowed on the entire UCI campus) The other cop, who wasn’t being so nice, she asks my friend to search his car, which is full of a bunch of longboards, pads, helmets, cooler, bags and blankets. After spending a bunch of time searching, she finds some spanish scriptures and says “Libro de Mormón?”, we all laugh and say, yeah all of us are, she then says “no wonder I didn’t find any booze in the cooler”, we all started laughing and she decided to let us go right then. I love how that works. I just thought it was a funny spiritual moment that was something to think about. Anyway we all headed over to the parking garage we normally longboard and had an enjoyable night doing so.

So overall an enjoyable night, I think the longboarding at the second garage helped over weigh all of the other stuff. Anyway, have a wonderful Sunday, and thank you for reading my blog, for those that do :)

Ah, so its Friday morning, a little tired, still deciding if I will go to the gym or not today, I am a little sore from yesterdays visit, but anyway, maybe I’ll read or something. Team Fortress Forever got released today and sort of anxious to try that although I probably won’t till later this weekend, maybe. Anyway, it has been an interesting week, school was okay, got some things done, now just looking for a part time job this weekend, we’ll see how that goes, but have kind of been considering working at my gym. So I also got my Macbook Pro back from the Apple store this week, they replaced a part in it to get rid of the buzzing problem I have been having since I got the computer, sadly the sound is still there. I hope to take it in again next week, call Apple Care and just ask for a replacement, this thing has been in way too many times in the past year, I shouldn’t have to go in as often as I do. Well, I’ll blog some more this weekend, until then, take care!

Well I took Kailee out last night on a date. I decided to surprise her and take her out on a date to Laguna at a little beach called Crescent Bay. But to start off I went over to pick her up and take her to the spectrum for a little walk around and to pick something up from the apple store, from there we went over to Whole Foods where we bought a fruit tart cake, which turned out to be a little different tasting rather than what we thought but good none the less. Kailee and I headed over to Laguna Beach for the rest of the evening, enjoyed the view, climbed on some rocks, took photos, got a little wet, and managed to play some Candy Land! As the evening grew darker we headed over to a local drug store to get some candy and then headed over to a little place called Gina’s Pizza, which turned out to be really good. We ordered “The Godfather” pizza, which is an all meat dish that was quite delicious! I must thank those who suggested the place, most excellent choice, great for a fun date on the town or any occasion for that matter. Anyway It was an adventurous evening and I hope Kailee had an excellent time as I did. I absolutely love Laguna Beach and the little Crescent Bay area, and all made for a most excellent date well done :)

Bravia

It’s a couple years old, but just remembered about it today. It’s quite beautiful and has some great music to accommodate it:

Anyway, speaking of Apple, my Macbook Pro went in for yet another logicboard replacement, 3rd time, 4th service to it, annd probably 10th time in, also this time they are replacing the power circuitry as well. Hopefully the thing will just eventually get replaced, I have Applecare, so we’ll see what happens.
