So I thought I would blog about a fun experience I had last week. I was at disneyland last week where I recieved a call from this place that will book me on background work and bit parts every now and then (otherwise I will book myself), this isn’t my agent but rather a service that just gets me more of the simple kind of work in the entertainment business. Anyway so I recieved this call asking if I could work on thursday. I was feeling a bit eh about it and replied with “welll”.. then she cut me off and said it would be shooting in burbank for the show “The Office”, I Immediately replied and said, yes, yes I will do it.

For anyone that doesn’t know, The Office is my most favorite show on tv. Infact it is one of the few things I actually watch on tv. So anyway, That is pretty much it, I got to work on The Office at some random high school in Burbank and got to meet John Krasinski and Ed Helms. This was indeed a treat for me, just to work on The Office was a fantastic experience. I won’t spoil too much but I will just leave it at, in the episode I worked on, Andy has a girlfriend.. in high school. Awesome.

I went to microcenter this morning, I didn’t find anything except the free memory card with a coupon I got in the mail. I was in the video game section and this man that seemed to be in his late 30′s I would say was complaining to the store worker how he cannot find a Nintendo Wii anywhere, I thought I would say something and tell him where he might be able to find them. I said to the store clerk how its funny how every store has the ps3 and no Wii’s yet they have produced over 4 million Wii’s and only over 1 million ps3s, the buy complaining got cocky with me and said its a marketing scheme, as I tried to explain to him more about it he kept interrupting me to tell me the same thing over and over again, I finally was able to say something and said you won’t even give me a chance to talk man, finally I said they have not stopped production or anything like that.. he then interrupted me again, I finally just stopped talking and walked away to do my normal browsing, he finished talking to the guy, walked passed me and called me a shmuck. It was right then I had the choice to either go off on him or just leave it go, and I chose to let it go. As much as I wanted to say something, what would it do, he is already suffering because he doesn’t have a Wii, I have a Wii, he doesn’t seem happy, I am happy well, no I am not happy. I was already in a not so good mood, me and my mother had got into an arguement earlier, so this just made my day a lot worse. In the end though I can give myself a pat on the back for being the bigger person between me and this strange man at microcenter. Hopefully my day gets better instead of getting progressively worse. Thanks James for cheering me up with the Z GT photos.

Sorry, I had to say that, and I don’t know why. So anyway today has been an interesting day, I have been feeling a little melodramatic today. This whole war on Iraq thing really has me puzzled. Today on the corner of culver and alton, one of the busiest intersections in Irvine there was a plea for peace gathering, appearantly today and tomorrow are a worldwide day for this. My Mom is always bringing up a good point, what if we just had a vote in Iraq, asking the people of Iraq what they would like for us to do. But then again my Mother and I came to the conclusion that there is probably a good reason this hasn’t already taken place.. Maybe? anyway that is a whole different story.

So to move on, I hope everyone likes the new layout, it is a work in progress, It isn’t by me exactly, but soon will become part of my own as I edit it with time. As you can see the comment system works a lot cleaner now and comments can be posted immediately. I plan on dazzling up a few more things as well, should be nice.

More blogs! yes you will see why and how coming up soon, anyway I am going to head to bed. Hope everyone is doing well. Forgive and always love.

So I thought I would start off saying that I have been on holidy in Miami, FL for the past few days with my uncle, since thursday to be exact. It has been quite an enjoyable time, but come tomorrow, I will be saying my goodbyes and head back to Irvine. To give you an idea of what my stay has been like, I came in to Florida around 2 on Thursday, from the airport we went to a little Argentinean cafe where they had some most excellent food, empanadas, and sandwiches. From there we headed to the appartment. Now for anyone that doesn’t know much about Miami, It is one of the fastest growing cities in America. Cranes everywhere building large multi story apartment buildings looking over the Atlantic ocean and the Intercoastal. Anyway here I am on the 6th and 7th floor (both are one apt.) of their apartment building on an island on the Intercoastal, from here you can also see the ocean. Friday came a long and we went to the Miami Ballet Hall and saw 3 different ballets. It turned out to be quite a show, we ended the night off at this restraunt called “Soyka”, some of the best food I have ever had, a long with some of the best bread I have ever had. Appearantly the owners also own another restraunt which is one of the most popular restraunts in Miami. It was a fantastic night.

Saturday came and I got to spend most of my day visiting a good friend from Irvine, I’ll post more about who it was in the next post, but I ended up being able to take the car and going to this little place called “Le Tub” which has some of the most largist burgers I have ever had in my life, I mean these things have 2 inches thick of meat on them. The entire place has old bathtubs and toilets filled with plants here and there. Le Tub is also located right on the water of the Intercoastal. You can actually dock your boat right there where you eat. I parted with my friend and Le Tub, headed back to the apartment, and took a nap. Later in the night we headed out to go see a couple movies, Zodiac and Breach, I was falling asleep by time we went to go see the other movie, but I managed and very much enjoyed both movies.

Although Zodiac was a little graphic at the beginning it managed to turn out to get less graphic and better towards the end. Although the movie did turn to carry on for almost 3 hours, I think it could have been cut down. What was interesting about both movies was both were real stories. If you google: “Zodiac Killer”, you will find yourself some interesting history on the story.

We ended the night off at this Brazillian Pizza place which I actually got to visit a over a couple years on my first visit to Miami, Excellent food, pizza, and full of art! They actually change the art inside every month to a featured artist.

Anyway today was interesting, woke up late and ended up going to the beach, it started to get very cold and windy, so we left, I managed to take some excellent photos of the beach which is always nice. Anyway so it has just been relaxing since then, I hope to tell you about the rest of my trip tomorrow. Until then, thanks for reading :)
